FIND A RATED MATCHHow ratings and career wins work
Competitive: start at 1,000 Elo and complete 10 rated matches in a format to earn a place. A win against an equal-rated opponent earns 16 points. At a 200-point gap, an underdog win earns about 24 and a favorite win about 8. Losses subtract the corresponding points; draws can move your rating toward your opponent's. Every completed match between signed-in players counts when the deck groups are compatible, including private challenges, automatic matchups, rematches and human tournament games. Standard accepts B-, B and B+ together. High Power accepts A-, A and A+ together, or AA and AAA together. Rated GraveKeeper is a labeled AI competitor that mirrors your saved deck and uses the same Elo rules. Free practice, other bots, guests, cancelled games and mismatched or unverified decks do not earn Elo.
Standard 1v1, High Power 1v1 and 2v2 have separate ratings. In 2v2, all four decks must share a compatible grade group. The rating compares average team ratings and awards the same change to both teammates. Career wins keep the existing all-time 1v1, 2v2 player and fixed-pair team records. Equal win totals share a career rank. Eligible everyday matches still contribute to career records and can earn XP and quest progress under their usual rules.
